Dr. Prakash Ambegaonkar is a long-time entrepreneur and technologist. In 2013, he founded CareersUnbound, a technology startup that provides an online hiring platform for employers and job seekers using global data mining, advanced graph theoretic algorithms, and cognitive science technologies.

Previously, he founded three technology companies. Tellus Technologies was one of the first software companies in India, while E-Lock created the digital signature products that President Clinton used to sign the e-signature law making internet transactions legally enforceable. Frontier Technologies was named one of Information Week’s Top 25 Intranet Companies and was honored as one of Upside Magazine's Hottest 100 Companies. Overall, his companies have won over 30 industry awards, including LAN Magazine's Product of the Year three times running. Dr. Ambegaonkar was also named Inc. Magazine's Regional Entrepreneur of the Year in 1995. A visionary in technological, economic and socio-political trends, Dr. Ambegaonkar’s unique global perspective makes him an innovative and knowledgeable leader in a variety of interdisciplinary fields.

Dr. Ambegaonkar has also been very active philanthropically. He is the founder and hon. CEO of the Bridging Nations Foundation, a think-tank in Washington, D.C. that focuses on the issues of leadership, technology and education, working to make education a universal birthright. Additionally, he and his wife contribute to numerous causes including the Center for Strategic and International Studies, Asia Society, the Orphan Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, the Smithsonian, the National Museum of Women and the Arts, Georgetown University, George Mason University, The George Washington University, and the World Affairs Council.

Dr. Ambegaonkar received two Masters degrees in electrical and industrial engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Marquette University. He currently lives in McLean, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, DC with his wife Nunda.



Aniruddha is spearheading technology at CareersUnbound. He has over 30 years of experience in the software industry as a technocrat and has worked in diverse fields such as e-Learning, online education, networking protocols, PKI, Digital Signatures and the Electronic Signatures domain.

At E-Lock, digital signature and PKI products developed under his leadership were used by President Clinton to sign the ESIGN Act in 2000. He also chaired a committee formed by the Controller of Certification Authorities in India.

While at Frontier Technologies, he led the development of multiple award winning TCP/IP products. Aniruddha was a key contributor in multi-million dollar contracts for the company. The products that were architected and engineered went on to win prestigious industry awards such as LAN Magazine's Product of the Year Award, PC Magazine's Editor’s Choice Award, SCO World's Hottest Product, Computer Life's Five Star Award and many more.

He has filed patent applications for secure e-commerce transactions, collaborative content aggregation systems and for identifying best-fit matches between job openings and job seekers.

Aniruddha earned his degree in Electrical Engineering from one of the most renowned education institutes of India, IIT (Delhi). He started his career at Wipro and later worked with the Center for Development of Telematics. Outside of work, Aniruddha is a badminton, fitness and adventure sports enthusiast.



Anthony has been active in the software technology field under different roles for more than two decades. He has been an instrumental person in developing and growing technology organizations. His work in both small and large companies (such as Siebel Systems, and Sterling Commerce), makes him an expert in bridging business and technology, and driving growth and success.

Anthony attended Davis College and the University of Toledo and was certified as an Avionics Technician with the United States Marine Corps.

Being well versed in all aspects of business operations, he has helped grow several young companies, increasing revenue by formulating growth strategies, instilling processes and serving as an active member of the management teams. He identifies areas where efficiency can be utilized and expenses trimmed while not sacrificing operations or customer satisfaction.

As the CMO at CareersUnbound, Anthony develops the business development growth strategy and engine, as well as Go To Market Strategy, marketing and revenue processes. Outside of work, Anthony enjoys Caribbean Islands getaways, boating and family.



Dr. Steve has many years of experience in finance, start-up company leadership, politics, and academics. For more than two decades he has helped lead Stieber Capital, developing algorithms for automated trading and developing risk management strategies for the firm. He served for three years as the Senior Advisor to the principal of Gerschel & Company, a NYC private investment bank. He served as Executive Vice-President of Immersive Technologies and Sundance Replicas, and was instrumental in bringing major customers to the companies. He has consulted for dozens of other companies, non-profits and government agencies.

Dr. Steve also managed dozens of political campaigns at the national, state and local level, and was one of the first to develop personal computer based software for managing local campaigns. As a professor at Cornell University and Washington University in St. Louis he was recognized as a leading expert on both the US and Global economies, and as the founder and director of their Washington, DC Centers. He also placed thousands of students in internships and jobs in Washington, DC and elsewhere.

Through these diverse experiences, Dr. Steve has honed a keen ability to produce compelling strategic plans and business plans, with metrics for continual gauging of success. He has also developed a wide range of contacts in finance and several other major industries.

As Chief Strategy Officer at CareersUnbound, Steve will bring his experience to bear on the tasks of crafting strategic relationships and securing financing which will allow CU to develop the next wave of its disruptive products. He will also lead the effort to create a recognized branding of CU as a disruptive technology company in the business of harnessing technology to match the talents of potential employees with the needs of hiring companies.
